About how to deal with my 97 yr old relative with dementia. She lives with us and generally is ok as far as eating and drinking are concerned..that she can do herself, she does wear adult diapers and has health aides daily to care for her. My biggest problem is at night, at least 4 of 7 nights she gives me a very hard time about going to bed alone..and when we finally do get her into bed she calls and calls until I'm ready to scream at her. Now she's been in bed 2 hrs and already I've been back to her bedroom 5 times! She insists she's in a cage and pleads for me to get her out (she's in a hospital bed, so I guess she thinks the bed rails are like cage bars) To make matters even worse I'm up at least 2x every night to change her so she ...
Voting Question: Use of Diaper for 15 days old?
Hi I am from India and wants to ask that can we use the disposable diaper for 15 days old baby. We use cotton nappy, because market diapers is not suitable for newborn babies skins and can cause rashes.

I know there will probably be a lot of people that will tell me to talk to my daughter's physician but really I just want a mother's point of view on this subject. My daughter just turned one on the 17th and got her first 2 teeth when she turned 9 months old. Now she's having her 2 top teeth and as well the lateral incisors (from what I was told they're also called stomach teeth). Lately she's been having loose stool, which I know is common in teething but she's starting to have diaper rashes, is this normal? I know every baby is different when it comes to teething, but I was just curious if any other mother went through this with teething?

Resolved Question: A&D ointment question...?
I just got a tattoo today and put ointment on around 2 1/2 hours ago. It's the A&D ointment for diaper rash or whatever. I was told to use it about 2-4 times / day which I'm guessing is once every 6-12 hours... About the ointment, though...I'm really worried I'm doing something wrong and don't want to mess my tattoo up. I know that they told me how to wash it and pat it dry rather than wiping at all... But when you put the ointment on, do you just rub it in like you would elsewhere (in a thin layer, of course) or do you kind of have to pat it on as well or risk ruining the tattoo? Additionally, is every 6-12 hours frequently enough for the ointment?
